HEALTH & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The Health and Safety course is a training program on health and safety issues, and worker rights challenges faced by Board licensees within the State of California. This course will provide students with a better understanding of the knowledge, skills and training needed to succeed in the Barbering and Beauty industry.

- Explain what a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is and where to get one.
- Recognize the sections of the SDS.
- Demonstrate how to use an SDS to find information about a cosmetic product.
